Day 2 – Local exchange and ride in antique American car.

Stages: Havana

Havana is a lady asleep in time. Discovering her nuances with a Cuban friend, far from the tourist clichés and the “staged” visits is what we recommend for this first encounter with the island. Sharing an intelligent conversation accompanied by a good coffee, and good Cuban music, in one of the experiences that every visitor must do, when visiting Cuba.

In the morning:
– Meeting with the Cuban friend at your accommodation.
– Visit to a local market, panoramic tour of the neighborhood, the most beautiful people, the most representative characters, their culture, we will enjoy the daily life and we will feel like Cubans for the first time!
– When you get home, the food will be prepared but you as the host should only concentrate on enjoying yourself. The experience with this activity has given us beautiful testimonies, family stories, curiosities of the country, exchanges of experiences. It is a truly beautiful and cultural encounter.
– Lunch tasting.

At the end:
– Tour in an antique American car through the most important areas of Havana: Ave. Puerto, Prado, Centro Habana, Plaza de la Revolución, Malecón.
– Intermediate stop at a Havana terrace for a mojito or other refreshing drink.

Since you have had the opportunity to live the most important experiences hand in hand with a Cuban, why not go back at your own pace and whim? My recommendation is to take a free panoramic tour of the main squares and streets of Old Havana, true architectural and cultural jewels of the country.
